Brian and Aimee's Wedding - Wedding Photographer

Washington, D.C. - Fish and Aimee tied the knot! We enjoyed a fabulous weekend away (our first since Dylan was born) in D.C. and celebrated Fish and Aimee's wedding with them. Dan was the best man but was able to help me shoot a few of the portraits around the monuments. Aimee was probably one of the most low key and easy going brides I have ever worked with. If every wedding was this easy I would be a happy camper.

Just a ittle history on these two...Dan and Fish have been best friend since sixth grade. Fish met Aimee at my sister's wedding. Aimee and my sister were in the peace corps together. Aimee and Katie (my sister) were also in the peace corps with Dan's college roommate, Matt. Confusing but fun nonetheless. It seems we are all connected somehow.

Congrats to you both...we love you so much and could not be happier that you have found each other. Enjoy every minute!

We Have Moved - Indianapolis, IN

Indianapolis, IN - Never a dull moment around here. We haven't been posting much on our blog lately but that doesn't mean we aren't busy. At the end of January Dan started a new job in Indianapolis, IN and we have finally moved everything and are feeling settled. My sister and her husband have graciously opened their home to us while we figure out where we want to live. We are excited to be here and being close to family feels so good. I am starting a new job next week but in the mean time I am enjoying my time at home with Dylan who is already 7.5 months old. Where has the time gone?

We will continue to shoot in NJ as we have a few weddings booked out there this year so please continue to refer us to friends and call us for photos...we may just be in the area when you need something. We have enjoyed a couple of quiet months but as the weather gets warmer we are gearing up for family photos, childrens portraits and much more. We hope to see you all soon and keep reading for our newest adventures in Indiana.

We are the luckiest...

Lebanon, NJ - We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season and we are reminded of that every time we look at Dylan. He has brought us so much joy and has shown us a love that we never knew existed. The past five months have been pretty amazing...Dylan James, we love you so much!

This year has been DJK Photography's best one yet and we are hopeful to keep that momentum going as we move into a new year with new ideas and exciting changes. We wanted to take this opportunity to wish every one a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are headed on a week long vacation tomorrow and we could not be more excited. Any chance to spend time together without our computers is an exciting thing. See you in the new year!
