The Butwins - Indianapolis Family Photographer

At the risk of sounding a little cheesy I will say I love seeing friend's families grow. It is one of the best parts of being a photographer. Year after year we get to be a part of some of the most joyous occasions in their lives. Michele was my college roommate for two years and she even lived with my family for a summer while working for my parents. We always talked about how we we would both live in Indianapolis someday and after six years of me living on the east coast and Michele living in Chicago we are both back in Indianapolis. Although we haven't seen much of each other just yet I am so excited that she is here. Can't wait to have Jake over to play and meet Baby Butwin #2.

Mandy and Todd - Indianapolis Portrait Photographer

Indianapolis, IN - With one week left before Mandy's due date we were able to find a pocket of sunshine last weekend. She is due tomorrow and anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little girl. She looks amazing and was a great sport considering the fact that she was 39 weeks pregnant when we took these. Congrats to both of you and we can't wait to meet the newest addition to your family!

Ellie & TK - NJ Portrait Photographer

Lamington, NJ - As photographers we often find ourselves documenting special occasions in other people's lives but we forget to do the same for ourselves. So, after weeks of begging Ellie to let me take some pictures of her with her growing belly, she finally gave in and handed over the camera. It was a sunny spring day and the location couldn't have been more perfect. From broken benches to old barn doors to soggy grass, she was a trooper and entertained my every idea. Who knew that someone who is always so great behind the camera would be even better in front of it?! Enjoy these few select favorite pics until I can convince her to let me photograph her again...and yes, she even taught me how to update the blog!

Kim and Jay - Maternity Session

Ringwood, NJ - We are a little biased about these photos because Kim and Jay are great friends of ours but these two are the best! They are GLOWING in every photo. You can see their excitement to welcome their little one into the world in every smile and every time they glance at each other. Kim is only a little over a week away from her due date in these photos and she looks fantastic.
